Sensei Erik Melotte 6é Dan Menkyo Kaiden Shihanis one of the founders of the
KoKoDo Kyu Shin Kai organisation.
He is head coach of the Shu Shin Dojo club in Genk and is also the responsible Shihan of the Seiki-Dojo club in Peer.
In 1983 he started with the practising of martial sports and immersed himself in the traditional Hakko-Ryu and KoKoDo Ju Jutsu.
In 1990 he founded Free Style Ju Jutsu, and established the first club of this discipline in Genk.
Since 1995 he started studying and teaching ki- and breathing techniques.
In 1999 he obtained the degree of Okuden Shihan.
In 2006 he received the mastery degree Mekyo Kaiden Shihan
from Soke Irie in the Honbu Dojo in Omiya, Japan.
